Razzleberry Cupcakes

This is the card I came up with last night when I had some stamp time! I love the New In Colors, and that is all I used on this card! The base is Rich Razzleberry cardstock (115316), the Scallop Edge Punch (112091) was used on Melon Mambo cardstock (115320). I love this new Designer Series Paper, called Razzleberry Lemonade (115675). This adorable cupcake stamp is from a NEW Level 3 Hostess Set available July 1st, it's called The More The Merrier! The sentiment is from the same set. The cupcakes are stamped with Basic Black ink (101179) on Watercolor Paper (105019), and colored with the NEW In Color Markers (116329) with a Blender Pen (102845). I added Frosted Lace Stickles to the cupcakes, and on the scalloped edges. I tied some Rich Razzleberry 1/2" Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon (115613) around the middle of the card. Sentiment is stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink on a scrap of DSP, and framed with a piece of Styled Silver HodgePodge Hardware (111325), and layered on top of a Modern Label Punch (116630) in Crushed Curry cardstock (115319). That's about it for this card...here are a couple of close up shots...don't scrutinize my cupcakes, it's hard to color them perfectly when the parts are so small!

These are the close ups of detail!

Thanks for visiting! Leave a comment, I love to hear from you!

Happy Stampin'!!!

Father's Day card for my Husband

***You can click on pics to enlarge them to full screen size!!!***
I finally completed this last night. I found a very similiar card on SCS and just made a few changes to better fit my style. The green base is Kiwi Kiss Textured CS, only two other papers, Whisper White and Basic Black. I used Lovely as a Tree and the Father's Day stamp from All Holidays. The black dots under the sentiment are 1/2" circle punches stuck on. I will squeeze some Crystal Effects on them to dry tonight to look like black jumbo brads!!! I love shortcuts like that!
The card front was so heavy, I had to add more weight than usual inside the card just so it would stand up straight!!!
The background in these photos are my new cushions on my back patio dining set, Basic Black, Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Kiwi Kiss and Real Red!!! I thought it matched the card nicely for pics!!! I will have to post a pic of the whole set soon as well as my new front porch furniture set.
All items SU!

Look at my flowers!!!

Those of you who know me know what a feat gardening is for me. It does not come naturally to me. I may be Martha Stewart of the house, but past the porches, I am clueless. This Tiger Lily is 3 years old, every winter I store the pot in the garage, and it just keeps coming back every Spring. It bloomed last night, and the blooms are gorgeous! Look at this first picture! It looks like something from a real garden! I am so proud. I am cutting this plant in half after the blooms die to make two plants next year, it's getting so big. This sits in a planter at the end of my walkway.

This is the Lily plant the bloom from the first picture is from. There are several more buds that I hope will open tonight!!!
This is one of the two Hostas that sit in Terra Cotta pots on my front steps. I love Hostas, they are the one plant I cannot kill, and trust me, I have killed them all! I try, I just can't do plants. Well, this year, luck must be on my side. I love the light purple trumpet shaped blooms on here! The other one isn't flowering, it doesn't get as much sun, I am assuming that is the problem, so I put this prettier one against the house so the other could sit on the side that gets sun. Hopefully both will look like this soon!

I know this is totally not craft related, but I am so proud of my flowers this year! Even the Impatients planted in old iron fireboxes in front of my sidelights are flourishing this year! I may do some real planting next year!!!

It's HERE, Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FINALLY!!!! I just got my preorder in today!!!! This is it!!!! Well, most of my reinkers are backordered so I left the two I got out of this shot, but here are my goodies!!!! I hope my husband isn't too hungry tonight!!!! I have some big time playing to do!!!! Look at the wonderful new punch, called Modern Label! Would you take a gander at that beautiful paper, and the DSP??? Ribbon, cardstock, ink, and stamps GALORE!!! What do I play with first???

Can you tell I am a little excited? LOL! My husband got home early, the girls and I weren't even home yet from running errands. So, he was home, my 2 boxes from SU on the porch in the almost 100 degree day! Whew, I 'bout lost my mind. He now knows to bring my boxes in if he is home...LOL!!! I cut into the boxes much like a child tearing Christmas paper while he snickered at me and made jokes about all the stamping 'crap' (how dare he!). He really doesn't mind it, he just knows it gets to me when he fusses about it. But, as much as I love him, my focus will be elsewhere this evening!!! Oh, yeah, new stuff!!!!

Sweet Baby Boy...

A friend of mine just gave birth to her 3rd baby boy, and this is the card I made her earlier today to send to her. Base is Chocolate Chip, and sponged around sides. The Top Note die is made with Bashful Blue DSP from a past hostess pack, sponged on the edges with Chocolate Chip. Chipboard shapes are Making Memories, covered in Barely Banana craft ink, Encore silver, and embossed with clear powder, set on with Dimensionals. The star is suspended from the moon with light blue thread. The sentiment is from a set called Congrats this past SAB period. I love it! I made the parenthesis with the Round Tab punch. The gingham ribbon is from my stash, no idea of it's origin, but I thought it worked well on here.

Myself having two girls, I do not make much for boys, but with my friends popping boys out left and right, I feel I am getting a little better on baby boy cards...LOL!!!

Masking Cards...

My Hostess Club, also known as the Technique Lovers Club (TLC) took on masking as our technique for June. Here are the cards we made, all masking, all totally different techniques!

This one was so easy, and works out great for guys, especially with Father's Day being just around the corner. We cut the landscape on scrap paper, and used it to mask while sponging the scene. The cat tails are pieces of Choc Chip CS punched with the Horizontal Slot and stuck on with rolled Glue Dots.

This was was LOTS of fun!!! We punched various size circles out of scrap paper, then layer it over our white CS. Then we used the Stampin Around Wheels over the whole thing for the black flowers. Circles were then sponged, mask removed, and Voila! Love this technique! This is my farewell to Tangerine Tango and Pacific Point! Adios!

This is one I call Painter's Mask. We used SU Glossy White CS, and layered torn painters tape on the front. Then we sponged in the center with Perfect Plum, stamped these flowers from Embrace Life in Basic Black. Then remove your tape carefully, stamp sentiment from Heard From The Heart in Basic Black, and mist lightly with sealant. This is SO pretty IRL, the picture won't catch the shiny paper, or depth of the sponging.

And these are my little girls, Chloe and Tara, who would not let me not include them, and insisted I put this pic on my blog! Anything to make them smile. Enjoy!
